Mayo GAA U15 Hurling Hibernia Cup Squads for 2023.

 

Due the growth and demand for underage hurling in Mayo, Mayo GAA Coaching and Games are entering two teams into the All-Ireland U15 Hurling Hibernia Cup in 2023. Last year the Mayo GAA U15 side claimed their section of the Hibernia Cup with an impressive final win over Armagh, and this year are looking to retain their title aswel as run a second side to cater for the all extra players.

 

Already, the side has had a number of trials and coaching sessions with over sixty players from all corners of Mayo expressing a strong interest in playing underage hurling for Mayo GAA. Nine clubs are represented on the training squad with Castlebar, Westport, Claremorris, Tooreen, Ballyhaunis, Ballyvary, Ballina, Caiseal Gaels and Moytura all represented in the initial training panel of players.

 

Eleven of last years All-Ireland winning Hibernia Cup panel are available again this year. All eleven are back in training ahead of this years campaign in what is hoped to be another successful summer of hurling for the Mayo Development squads.
