Record TV audience for 2007 Allianz Hurling League Final

 

Yesterday’s live coverage of the 2007 Allianz National Hurling League Division 1 Final on TG4 achieved the highest audience ever for a programme on the channel.  Overnight data from AGB Nielsen the official television audience measure for Ireland, show that 309,000 viewers watched Waterford’s win over Kilkenny from start to finish.   In all half a million viewers tuned into GAA Beo at some stage over the course of yesterday afternoon, with the Allianz Division 2 finals in hurling and football also being shown on GAA Beo.
