Match day information for this weekend’s Connacht GAA Final between Mayo and Galway

A Garda message to spectators travelling to Hastings Insurance MacHale Park this Sunday 4th of May at 4pm for the Connacht GAA Final game between Mayo and Galway
As parking around Hastings Insurance MacHale Park is limited, there will be no public parking around An Sportlann car park. Patrons are advised to arrive early and obey all the stewards and Gardaí on duty inside and outside the grounds.
All Mayo GAA supporters are asked to obey all byelaws and show consideration for local residents when parking. Parking by supporters along the N5 is not recommended for health and safety reasons. There will be ample free car-parking spaces for supporters within the environs of Castlebar itself.
Turnstiles will open at 2:30pm on Sunday with the game set to start at 4pm. Supporters entering the stand can access the stadium via the An Sportlann car park while those entering the terraces can access the grounds via the turnstiles on MacHale Road. Supporters are asked to have their digital or printed tickets ready for scanning on arrival at the turnstiles. Gates will remain closed until 15 mins into the second half.
This match is an all ticket event:
If any patrons leave the stadium during the game or half time they will not regain access due to their ticket been already scanned and will have to purchase another ticket.
Match day programmes will be available to purchase inside and outside the grounds.
Please see Garda notice for road closures on Sunday due to the Mini Marathon taking place in Castlebar
Mayo GAA would like to take this opportunity to thank all supporters for their continued unwavering support.
