Mayo Jubilee Cup (Minor A Final)

The trophy presented to the winners of the Mayo Minor A Championship is the Mayo Jubilee Cup. This magnificent cup was presented to Mayo County Board in 1934, to mark the jubilee of the GAA, to be used as a permanent trophy for Minor football. It was donated in memory of people born in County Mayo who lived in Dublin. The trophy has been presented continuously to the winners of the Minor A championship since 1934, and this makes it the longest used trophy currently in use in Mayo football for the same competition.

Michael Waldron Cup (Minor B Final)

The trophy for the Mayo Minor B Championship is The Michael Waldron Cup, which was first presented in 2013, when Naomh Padraig were successful. The Cup was commissioned by the friends of the late Michael (Minister) Waldron in the Roger Casements Club in Coventry, Bernard Keane,Martin Grogan, the late Frank Brady and others, and was presented to Ballyhaunis GAA Club who gave it to Mayo GAA for the Minor B championship.

The trophy is a fitting tribute to a true GAA Stalwart who served his club Ballyhaunis in many capacities including, Secretary, East Mayo Delegate, team mentor and selector, Mayo Delegate to Congress as well as playing a significant role in the Roger Casements Club in Coventry. It is fitting that the trophy has been used for Underage Competition as it was at this level that the Minister had a particular grá and interest.
