Ballinrobe bridged a 21 year gap to win their second Intermediate title with a comprehensive win over Ballaghaderreen in the final played at Fr. Gibbons Park Claremorris.

A blistering start which saw the south mayo men lead by 1-09 to 0-00 after 20 minutes put the game to bed early. Ahead by 1-12 to 0-04 points at the break Ballinrobe continued their dominance through the second half and their victory was wrapped up long before the end, despite the best efforts of Ballaghaderreen to get a foothold in the game
