Mayo GAA are saddened to hear of the passing of Marian Browne (née Hanley) of Convent Hill Crescent, Ballina Co. Mayo.

 

Marian predeceased by her husband Peter, and her son Micheál her parents Michael John and Mary.

 

She will be sadly missed by her sons  Seamus and Peter, brother Micheál and sister-in-law Martina, brothers-in-law Simon and Jimmy and sister-in-law Patricia, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

 

Marian was a former secretary for Ballina Stephenites and was well known in GAA circles. She will be sadly missed by her club.

 

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Thursday evening 6th of November from 5:30 with removal at 7:30pm to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.

Requiem Mass will take place on Friday morning 7th of November at 11:30am, followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
