2026 County Finals Weekend
Following the tremendous excitement of Mayo’s All-Ireland Senior Football success and the return of the Sam Maguire Cup to the county, it is particularly fitting that we now turn our attention to the clubs and communities that are the very heartbeat of Mayo GAA. This weekend we have a feast of action in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park with 4 county finals down for decision.
The Connacht Gold Senior final brings together Garrymore and Castlebar Mitchels in a repeat of the 1982 county final, adding a special historical dimension to this year’s decider. Both clubs will be eager to write their own chapter in Mayo GAA history and claim the ultimate prize in club football. It promises to be a compelling contest between two clubs with a proud tradition and a strong desire to finish the season as county champions.
The Egan Jewellers Intermediate game promises to be a real South Mayo derby, with Ballinrobe and Davitts going head-to-head for county honours. Local pride will be very much at stake, but there is also the added incentive of securing Senior football status for 2027, giving both teams plenty to play for.
In the Treanlaur Catering Junior A decider, Eastern Gaels and Ardagh have a fantastic opportunity to bring a county title back to their respective communities. Reaching a county final is an achievement in itself, and both sides will be determined to make the most of the occasion and reward the efforts of everyone who has contributed to their campaigns. The Treanlaur Catering Junior B Football Final sees Swinford take on Ballycastle, with both clubs hoping to finish 2026 on a high by getting their hands on silverware.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are on sale now via ➡️ Match Tickets.
All four finals will be streamed live on Mayo GAA TV with stream passes available now via ➡️ Stream Passes.
