Mayo GAA and Homeland renew underage partnership
Mayo GAA is delighted to announce that they have renewed their underage club sponsorship with Homeland for another three years. Homeland will now sponsor all underage football and hurling competitions in Mayo up until 2028.
Statement from Mayo Cathaoirleach Seamus Tuohy
Welcoming the news, Mayo GAA Cathaoirleach Seamus Tuohy thanked Homeland for their continued support and commitment to Mayo GAA. “Homeland support clubs across the county and across the region and we are delighted to renew our partnership with them here in Mayo for another three years. Like our GAA clubs, Homeland is rooted in the community providing a valuable local service to their customers,” commented Seamus Tuohy.
Homeland represents Aurivo Co-op’s growing retail business sector with 34 stores now across the region. Homeland provides an essential product range for the agri, garden, pet, hardware, DIY, homeware and machinery sectors at the heart of local communities.
“Homeland is a very reputable local company and their continued support is a wonderful endorsement for our underage competitions in Mayo. They recognise the work that is being done at grassroots level in every club and they understand and appreciate the commitment and effort that these young players and their volunteer coaches are giving to their local communities every day of the week,” commented Seamus Tuohy.
Statement from Marketing Manager Caroline Millar-Price
Commenting on the renewed partnership, Caroline Millar-Price, Brand Development & Marketing Manager at Aurivo Agribusiness said “Homeland are absolutely thrilled to continue our support of the Mayo GAA Homeland Underage Championships for an additional three years. Through sponsoring the underage championships we know that we are also contributing to friendships formed and friendly competition between clubs. How exciting to see these kids thrive and grow into their skills as young GAA stars of the future! Our 8 Homeland stores in County Mayo are immersed in the communities that the local clubs are located and so this partnership is an organic fit for us. Wishing all of the teams the very best of luck in the 2025 championships from all at Homeland and Aurivo.”
