Draw 5 Club Development Results

The 5th of  the 2024 Cairde Mhaigh Eo Club Development Draws took place CLG ACLA  on the 7th  September 2024.  We thank CLG ACLA for hosting the Draw.

Tickets can be bought online for the remaining draws or bought from any Club officers. All tickets purchased will be included in all draws after date of ticket purchase.

Prize money 
The prize money for Draws 3 and 4 was transferred to Club accounts last week for distribution by clubs to their winners.

RIP Stanley Rowe

Mayo GAA are saddened to hear of the passing of Stanley Rowe “Blackwood House”, Kilmoremoy, Ballina, Co. Mayo
Stanley is predeceased by his parents Tommie and Nellie Rowe.
Beloved husband of Pat and devoted father to Kathryn. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, son-in-law Nick, grandchildren Hannah-Jane, Caoilha and Blue Edgar, brothers John and Barry, sisters Anne and Helen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Stanley made his senior football debut with Mayo against Meath in 1959, played National Football League final against Derry in 1961. He held all roles in his club Ballina Stephenites from 1974-1998. He was the North Board Chairman from 1993-1995.
 Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (F26 V274) on Sunday evening 8th September from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
 Funeral will arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina on Monday morning 9th September for Requiem Mass at 11:30am followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
 Stanley’s funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org
 Mayo GAA would like to express our deepest sympathy to Stanley’s wife Pat daughter Kathryn, family, friends and his GAA club.

RIP Padraic Monaghan

Mayo GAA are saddened to hear of the passing of Padraic Monaghan RIP, Templeogue and formerly of Scardaune Claremorris Co.Mayo
Padraic is predeceased by his father Paddy.
Beloved husband to wife Mary, loving father to Brian and Fiona.  Padraic will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving family, his mother Dymphna, daughter-in-law Lauren, his 3 adoring Grandchildren, Finn, Cara and Bran, his brothers Tommy, Johnny, Liam and Paul, his sisters Eileen, Anne and Dymphna, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends, and all in the St. Jude’s GAA Community.
Padraic played wing back on the St. Colman’s College team that captured the Hogan Cup in 1977. He then captained UCG, now University of Galway, to a Sigerson Cup in 1980. Padraic also won 3 County Titles with Garrymore in 1979, 1981 and 1982. He was also part of the 1982 All-Ireland Final team. Padriac was also a former player with the Mayo Senior, U21 and Minor panel.
We offer our sympathies also to all in CLG Naomh Jude and Garrymore GAA Club

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue Village, D6W AC82 on Thursday evening  between 5pm and 7pm. Removal on Friday morning to St. Jude the Apostle Church, Templeogue, D6W to arrive for 10am Funeral Mass followed thereafter by Cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium.
