Now that our 2025 Club Development Draw has concluded — featuring six exciting draws over six weeks — I wanted to take a moment to thank a number of people who made it such a success.

A special word of thanks to Ballintubber GAA, who kindly hosted our final draw on Saturday night, and to the other five clubs — Ardagh, Davitts, Burrishoole, Ballyhaunis, and Bonniconlon — for their warm welcome and hospitality throughout the campaign. The facilities on offer in each of these clubs are a credit to their members, and Mayo GAA looks forward to visiting again in the future.

A huge thanks to Michael Kilkenny, our Draw Master, and Garda Mark McDonnell, our independent observer. Without their support, this draw would not have been possible. Their professionalism and commitment were key to ensuring the smooth running of each draw.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the executive members of Mayo GAA who supported and attended the draws, and to our Communications Officer, John Walker, for his support over the past six weeks. His efforts in travelling across the county to stream each draw live were greatly appreciated by all those watching from home.

To all our clubs who put in tremendous effort to promote and sell tickets locally — thank you for your commitment to both club and county. Your support is what drives this initiative forward.

Finally, to the 6,568 people who purchased tickets for this year’s draw — thank you. Your continued support ensures we can invest in the future of Mayo GAA at both club and county level. We are confident the benefits of your support will be seen in the months ahead.
