New Home Jersey Unveiled as Intersport Elverys and Portwest Sponsorship Extended
Mayo GAA is delighted to announce the launch of its new home jersey, alongside the renewal of its long-standing partnerships with both Intersport Elverys and Portwest, who will continue as the county’s jersey sponsors for a further four years
The announcement represents a significant commitment to Mayo GAA, reinforcing the strong relationships between the county, two established Mayo businesses, and the communities they serve.
The new jersey will once again carry the familiar green and red colours that unite Mayo supporters at home and abroad. Worn with pride by players representing the county, the jersey is a powerful symbol of identity, belonging and the shared ambition of the Mayo GAA community.
The renewal of both sponsorship agreements ensures continuity for the coming four years and underlines the importance of local businesses investing in sport, community and the next generation of players. The support provided by Intersport Elverys and Portwest plays an important role in helping Mayo GAA deliver its ambitions on and off the field, supporting the development of Gaelic games throughout the county.
Both companies also make a substantial contribution to the local economy through the employment they provide in Mayo. Their continued investment in the county highlights the important relationship between successful local businesses and the communities in which they operate.

Speaking about the launch, Ruairí Conroy, CEO of Mayo GAA, said: “We are delighted to launch our new Mayo GAA home jersey and, equally importantly, to confirm the renewal of our partnerships with Intersport Elverys and Portwest for a further four years.
Both Intersport Elverys and Portwest have made a significant contribution to Mayo over many years, not only through their support of Gaelic games but also through the employment and economic activity they generate locally. We are proud to work alongside businesses that invest in our county and provide opportunities for people and families throughout Mayo.
We look forward to building on these partnerships over the next four years and seeing our new jersey worn with pride by our players and supporters everywhere the green and red are represented.”
Patrick Rowland, CEO of INTERSPORT Elverys, said: “At the heart of Mayo GAA are the clubs, volunteers and families who keep Gaelic games thriving in every parish, and we’re proud to play a part as title sponsor for almost thirty years.
As a business headquartered in Mayo, we see every day how sport brings this county together. Our commitment to 2030 is an investment in the next generation of Mayo players, and in a fan base that stretches far beyond the county bounds. The green and red is a link to home, and we look forward to seeing the new jersey worn with pride wherever Mayo people gather.”
Commenting on the renewed partnership, Cathal Hughes, Chairman of Portwest, said: “We are delighted to renew our partnership with Mayo GAA until 2030. As a company with deep roots in Mayo, this is a partnership we are incredibly proud of. To have supported Mayo on their journey and witnessed the Sam Maguire return home after 75 years was a truly special moment for everyone in the county. We look forward to continuing our support and being part of an exciting future for Mayo GAA.”
